Hockey Academy provides students with a unique opportunity to grow as both athletes and individuals. On the ice, students develop their skills through professional power skating, small-group instruction, and strategy training that builds confidence and game sense. Off the ice, they engage in fitness and conditioning, explore nutrition and sport psychology, and set personal goals that connect to their growth as players and people.
Beyond skill development, the Academy emphasizes teamwork, resilience, and leadership. Students learn what it means to collaborate, support one another, and push through challenges, all while building a strong sense of belonging in the GMS community. With guidance from experienced coaches and educators, athletes gain not only improved hockey performance but also the character, confidence, and social-emotional skills that will serve them on the ice and in life.
