This Harmony Day, our Jaguars stepped into a Human Library — a powerful experience where people became the “books,” and their lived stories sparked learning, connection, and empathy. Students rotated through sessions with incredible community presenters who shared personal journeys, challenges, and perspectives that broadened our understanding of the world and our place within it.

We invite you to watch the highlights in our Instagram video, where you’ll see students engaging, listening deeply, and celebrating the diversity that strengthens our community.

We are also proud to share that CBC Radio attended the event, and our Human Library was featured on Daybreak with Chris Walker. This recognition reflects the meaningful learning our students engaged in and the dedication of our presenters who generously shared their time and stories.

Thank you to our guests, staff, and students for making this Harmony Day unforgettable at GMS.
